The Lord Mayor’s Seniors Cabaret Gala was held at Brisbane City Hall on Sunday 22 October 2023. This year was the 10th anniversary of the Cabaret program which celebrates the diverse talents of Brisbane seniors by providing development and performance opportunities for participants.
The annual Lord Mayor’s Seniors Cabaret Masterclasses, Showcases and Gala allows our city’s senior residents to develop and showcase their performance skills alongside some of Australia’s top musical theatre, jazz and pop performers. This year, 15 acts performed in the Gala alongside some of their mentors: Jonathon Welch, Renae Suttie, Angie Narayan and Queenie van de Zandt.
