Nominations open for Lord Mayor’s Multicultural Business Awards

The 2024 Lord Mayor’s Multicultural Business Awards are now open to recognise Brisbane’s multicultural pioneers, entrepreneurs and industry leaders.

The prestigious awards celebrate Brisbane’s diversity and recognise the important role multicultural businesses play in our city and economy.

This year marks the 15^th Lord Mayor’s Multicultural Business Awards, which has crowned 30 winners and celebrated countless multicultural businesses since its inception.

There are three award categories which recognise accomplishments across the full breadth and depth of Brisbane’s business sectors.

Awards include Multicultural Entrepreneur of the Year, Multicultural Business Person of the Year and the Nick Xynias Multicultural Young Business Person of the Year.

This year’s awards ceremony will be held on 8 November 2024, with tickets available for purchase from September 2024.

Proceeds from the event go towards the 2024 Lord Mayor’s Multicultural Business Scholarship Program.

Scholarships provide aspiring business leaders with training and further education to expand their business capabilities and continue the legacy of a strong multicultural business sector in Brisbane
