The Community Support Category of the Lord Mayor’s Better Suburbs Grants provides funding to support projects that respond to local community needs, improve community facilities and build organisational capacity.  These grants are up to a maximum value of $10,000 (GST exclusive) each.

Projects must deliver one or more of the following objectives:

  • support community facility maintenance and improvement
  • improve community organisation governance and long-term sustainability
  • provide operational equipment for community organisations
  • enable projects and activities that respond to community needs.

Round 1 for 2022/2023 is now open with applications closing on 10 October 2022.
