Brisbane bus services will not run on Thursday or Friday due to the significant risk of Tropical Cyclone Alfred.
Bus services are planned to run as scheduled to last service today, Wednesday 5 March.
I know suspending public transport is significant, but we must put the safety of passengers and drivers first and no one should be travelling during a cyclone.
Services will recommence when it is safe to do so.
Council will work with Translink to ensure residents are aware of these changes.
CityCat and KittyCat services were suspended Monday night and all vessels have been moved to safety.
