We are collecting donations of non-perishable food and personal toiletries for Council’s next Homeless Connect event, until Friday 5 May 2023. The most needed donation items include:
Canned tuna and salmon
Canned soup and vegetables
Rice and pasta
Shaving blades and creams
Toothbrushes, toothpaste and deodorant
Body wash, shampoo and conditioner
Coffee and tea
Cereal and muesli bars
Long-life milk
Items can be dropped into the Bracken Ridge Ward office on weekdays between 9am and 4.30pm.
The next Homeless Connect event will be held on Thursday 18 May at the Brisbane Showgrounds, Bowen Hills.
