It’s time to dive into summer savings with the return of the Schrinner Council’s massively popular $2 Summer Dips.
From December 1 2024 until February 28 2025, entry to the 22 pools across Brisbane’s suburbs will be reduced to just $2 a person, making it even cheaper to cool off and get active over summer.
More than 660,000 pool trips were made during the highly successful 2023/24 inaugural program, which saved residents around $2.4 million in just three months.
In December 2023 alone there was an incredible 104 per cent year on year increase in people visiting a pool.
With the $2 Summer Dips initiative adult pool entry has been reduced from up to $6.40 to $2.
A family of four will save around $12 a visit, with entry just $8.
A family who goes to their local pool six times throughout summer will save more than $72.
Anyone accompanying a person with a disability who requires attendant care support will continue to get free entry. The initiative applies to general entry fees only.
