Important traffic information for residents in the Carselgrove Avenue and Beams Road area this weekend.

The Department of Transport and Main Roads will be carrying out pavement works as part of the Beams Road rail level crossing project, requiring a partial closure of Carselgrove Avenue at Beams Road from 7pm Friday 8 May until 5am Monday 11 May.

Here’s what you need to know:
🚗 Motorists will be unable to enter Carselgrove Avenue from Beams Road.
🚗 Motorists will be unable to depart Carselgrove Avenue onto Beams Road westbound.
🚗 A left-turn-only arrangement will be in place for those departing Carselgrove Avenue onto Beams Road eastbound.
🚗 The intersection of Beams Road and Golden Place will operate under traffic control, with controllers providing access to Golden Downs.
🚗 Beams Road will remain open to eastbound and westbound traffic under police control.

🚦 Pedestrian and cycle paths will not be impacted.

Nearby residents and businesses can expect some short-term noise, dust and odour during the works, with noisier activities scheduled for the earlier part of the evening where possible.

Please allow extra time when planning your weekend travel.
