For the first time, readers of all ages and interests can get involved with Brisbane City Council libraries’ Summer Reading program. Spend your summer reading in blissful solitude, or rediscover a love of reading together with your family. The program combines reading and library activities to encourage you to experience the joy of reading over the summer holiday break.
Council’s 33 libraries will host the Summer Reading program until Sunday 22 January 2023. The program is open to everyone.
Throughout the program, participants can play bingo in their program booklet. You’re eligible for your booklet to be stamped (by a Council library staff member) each time you complete a Summer Reading challenge.
